Saturday, September 22nd, 2007Although Melbourne might be the most European city on the Ocean Pacific continent, the differences are still huge. The first thing I recognized was that Melbourne is a lot bigger than Berlin. You’re almost lost without a car. Public transportation is not half as good as it is in Berlin. On the other side, people living in Melbourne have space, lots of space. Except from the skyscrapers in the CBD, you don’t see any houses with 3 stories or more.
Below are some facts of both cities.

Herbert Grönemeyer nimmt spricht Holländisch
Thursday, June 14th, 2007Henkie und seinen Gast hatten eine Holländische Flagge gekauft und darauf den Ortsnamen Valkenisse gemalt. Herbert hat nämlich ein Häuschen in Valkenisse. Das liegt auf einer Insel in der Holländische Provinz Zeeland.
Dann haben sie die ganze Zeit die Fahne hochgehalten aber er hat es nicht gesehen. Dann sind sie am Ende richtig Laufsteg gekrochen und wollte da auf sich aufmerksam machen. (more…)
